Lorraine
The cake was a great success and looked absolutely beautiful. After being officially cut it was taken away, cut up and served with the evening buffet. Everybody who had some said that it was lovely but unfortunately Hayley and Sam did not have any of the chocolate cake which was the bit they wanted. Is there any chance that you could make them a small chocolate sponge as a welcome home cake? They return from their Honeymoon on Wednesday 16th.

Dear Lorraine, Thankyou for everything. The cake was stunning and even got it’s own spot in my speech. “I thank my cousin Lorraine for making our cake, which I promise is real and not a fake. It’s chocolate and sponge all covered in icing, which fairly soon we will be slicing”. Lots of love Aaron and Emma.

Dear Lorraine, Thank you for making such a beautiful wedding cake for us. We really do appreciate you changing the heads for red heads! We had a wonderful day and everyone thought your cake was brilliant - so much so, there’s none left! The centre-piece is now taking pride of place in our glass display cabinet and it looks fantastic. It’s great to have such a novel keepsake. Once again thank you for your part in making our day so special, with love Wendy and Paul Hegley xx xx.

Hi Lorraine,
We came back from our honeymoon a week ago and I'm only just starting to get back into the swing of things. I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you again for our wedding cake. It looked really great and my mum said it was the nicest fruit cake she's ever tasted. Unfortunatly I didn't taste any on the day but am planning on tucking into the tier we've got here at home.
Apparently it's tradition to keep a tier of the cake for the 1st childs christening but we've decided not to keep it as we want to send some to family members that couldn't make it to the wedding and friends etc (oh and mum would like another slice of it and so do we) Can you tell me the best way to store it. Will it keep ok wrapped in foil or does it need to be in an airtight container
We've got some good photos of it so as soon as I master how to download them and email them I'll send you one.
Kind regards Katherine

Dear Lorraine -I would just like to thank you for the wonderful cake that you made for our wedding yesterday. It must have be quite difficult for you dealing with my children on the other side of the world.
All your efforts were well appreciated and added to the day significantly as it was a complete surprise to us. All our guests commented on how lovely the cake was and the amazing centrepiece.
Thanks to the wonders of modern technology and some good friends my children have already been able to see the photos, and they too are delighted. Thanks again Belinda & Peter Bezer

Hi Lorraine Just a note to thank you for yet another beautifully interpreted idea!!!!!!!I didn't get to see the cake until we arrived at our friends at 3pm today. Bill had taken it straight to our friends where a double Birthday celebration had been arranged at 3pm for her husband and Marc, as their Birthdays were on 16th (Marc) and 17th August (Her husband). I was so chuffed, as you'd incorporated everything I'd asked for. I couldn't get over how you'd got Marc's likeness so spot-on! Once again, we were reluctant to cut it, but I've managed to salvage the last section with Marc and Dizzy sitting in the corner and the golf clubs and bike are still intact. You are a fantastic artist, and it must be so gratifying to bring so much pleasure to people with what you make!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU AGAIN! I shall be singing your praises for every function to our friends and family for any occasion they need to make extra special. I looked at your website again last night and saw the cake 'extravaganza' you made for your daughter's wedding. It was amazing, and I wish I had your talent. (You looked fantastic too by the way). Many Many Thanks Sandra Hull xxxx
